Jeff joined the Board of Saranac Partners in 2017 as a non-Executive Director.

He is a U.S. based investor and an innovator in both the private equity and alternative asset industries.

Jerry del Missier founded Copper Street Capital in July 2015. Mr. del Missier is responsible for overseeing all investment activities within the firm and setting the firm’s strategic direction. He has extensive experience in the financial services industry including business acquisition, growth, restructuring and reengineering. Prior to founding Copper Street, Mr. del Missier was Co-Chief Executive Officer of Barclays Corporate & Investment Bank and subsequently, Chief Operating Officer for Barclays Bank Plc (1997-2012). During his time at Barclays he held various executive leadership positions and he played a key leadership role in the acquisition and integration of Lehman Brothers and the post-crisis restructuring of the bank. Previously, Mr. del Missier was a Senior Managing Director of Derivative Products for Bankers Trust (1988-1997). Mr. del Missier started his career at Scotiabank (1987-1988) in Toronto. Mr. del Missier holds an MBA from Queens University (1987) and a BSc in Chemical Engineering from Queens University (1985).

Martin Gilbert has over 35 years’ experience in the financial services sector. Martin was a co-founder and former chief executive of Aberdeen Asset Management PLC; building it into a leading global asset manager.

He is currently Chairman of Revolut Limited, Toscafund and Deputy Chairman of River and Mercantile Group PLC. He is also the Senior Independent Director at Glencore plc.

Martin holds a MA in Accountancy and a LLB in Law from the University of Aberdeen.

Michelle leads business development at Saranac Partners and was one of the founding partners of the firm. Michelle works with strategic clients and partners and is responsible for marketing and communications.

Prior to joining Saranac, Michelle was Head of Distribution within the Global Investments & Services division within Barclays Wealth.

Michelle holds a degree in PPE from Oxford University.

Richard Berliand’s career in the Financial Services sector spans over 35 years. He retired from a full time executive role at J.P.Morgan in 2011. During his 23 years with the Firm, he was involved in multiple asset classes and geographies, most recently as Managing Director leading the Global Cash Equities and Prime Services businesses and chairing the firm’s Market Structure practice.

Richard’s current non-executive activities include a number of roles in the markets arena, including as Chairman of TP ICAP plc, the world’s largest inter-dealer broker, and Senior Independent Director of Man Group plc, the largest listed hedge fund group. Previous non-executive positions have included Deutsche Börse AG, Rothesay Life plc, LIFFE and London Clearing House.

Simon is Saranac Partners’ CFO and also supports some of our Private Capital work.

He joined Saranac Partners in 2016 having previously worked for Barclays in corporate strategy and chief of staff roles.

Simon started his career as a management consultant with Oliver Wyman where is worked with financial services businesses across Europe.

He holds a Masters in Engineering Science from the University of Oxford.
