Christophe leads the fixed income proposition at Saranac Partners across discretionary and advisory portfolios. He is a member of the Investment Committee and also specialises in derivatives and structured products

Prior to joining Saranac in 2018, Christophe spent 7 years as the Investment Strategist at a London based single Family Office, advising on a multi-billion dollar balance sheet. Christophe started his career as a Fixed Income Portfolio Manager at Société Générale in Luxembourg.

Christophe is a French citizen and holds an Master of Science in Risk & Asset Management from EDHEC Business School.

Daniel is part of the Proposition team at Saranac Partners. He specialises in data, analytics and execution. He performs investment analysis for clients, develops management information solutions and enhances the trading capabilities of the firm. At Saranac, he has also worked as part of the Operations team, focusing on performance, automation and data integration.

Daniel joined Saranac in 2019 from SS&C Technologies where he held roles in both Client Finance and Enterprise IT, providing services to asset managers and hedge funds.

Daniel holds a B.Sc. in Mathematics from the University of Bristol and the IOC from the CISI.

Edmond Klinke joined Saranac in 2016 as a Portfolio Manager and member of the Investment Committee.

Prior to Saranac he managed Discretionary Portfolio Management teams at both HSBC and Barclays Wealth.  Ed started his career at Citigroup Asset Management as a portfolio manager in the emerging markets team, and later was responsible for managing the global equity model as well as portfolio construction and risk management of multi-asset class portfolios.

Ed has over 25 years of industry experience, a B.A. (Hons) degree in Business Studies and Italian from University College London and is a CFA charter holder.

Henning leads the multi asset proposition at Saranac Partners and is a member of the Investment Committee.

Prior to joining Saranac in 2024, Henning was a fund manager at Sarasin & Partners where he managed global multi asset and equity portfolios on behalf of high-net-worth individuals, families, and charities. Henning started his investment management career at Kleinwort Benson.

Henning holds an MSc Finance from the University of St. Andrews, a BA in Business Management from the University of Westminster and is a CFA Charterholder.

Jayesh joined Saranac Partners in 2024 as part of the Investment Advisory team. Prior to joining Saranac, Jayesh worked for three years at Citi Private Bank, where he completed the graduate training programme before taking up a role as an Investment Counsellor covering clients based in the Emerging Markets. Jayesh is a CFA Charterholder and holds an MSc in Finance from Imperial College London.

Karan is part of the Corporate Finance division.

He has over 10 years of corporate finance experience and provides clients with strategic advice in relation to their businesses. He has developed a strong expertise and an outstanding deal completion track record across a variety of sectors including technology, industrials, consumer and business services.

Karan holds a dual Masters degree in Telecom Technology and Finance from Institut Mines-Telecom and Paris Dauphine University. He started his career within the investment banking division of Société Générale in London advising on large leverage buyouts, and subsequently held roles at Stanhope Capital and finnCap Cavendish where he specialised in business sales.

He has been involved in over 40 corporate finance transactions. Successful projects include Sell-Side/Buy-Side M&A, Public-to-Private, LBO and Fundraising transactions.

Martin is part of the Private Capital and Financing & Solutions team at Saranac Partners.

Prior to Saranac, Martin worked in the investment banking division at Wells Fargo Securities in the Real Estate Syndicated Finance group specialising in the origination, structuring and distribution of debt for global US sponsors for acquisition, refinancing and event driven mandates. Martin also worked at direct lending manager Fiduciam focusing on short-term commercial real estate financings.

Martin earned a BSc in Accounting & Finance and MSc in Finance & Investment from the University of Bristol and holds the designation as a Financial Modelling & Financial Analyst (FMVA) from the Corporate Finance Institute.

Richard Urwin is Chairman of the Investment Committee.

Along with other members of the Committee, he is responsible for developing and implementing the investment frameworks used by Saranac to manage client assets. These includes asset allocation, security selection and the selection of external managers. He is also involved in communicating Saranac views and performance directly to clients.

Prior to joining Saranac, he was Head of the Outsourced CIO function at BlackRock in Europe, responsible for managing $80bn of assets. He was previously Head of Economics and Asset Allocation at Gartmore Fund Managers, and an Economist at Warburgs, the Investment Bank.

Richard has a BA and an MA in economics, an MBA, and an MA and MRes in philosophy.

Shawn joined Saranac in August 2024. He has over 20 years’ experience investing in emerging and developed markets. Prior to joining Saranac, Shawn ran his own investment advisor firm, Lintel Capital, and worked as an illiquid credit trader at Deutsche Bank and UBS, investing in primary, secondary and special situation transactions.

Steve joined Saranac Partners in August 2017.

A Chartered Tax Advisor by background, he has a career in tax/financial services spanning 30 years including time at PwC, UBS, Credit Suisse, Coutts and latterly JP Morgan.

He studied Geology at Imperial College and has a Masters from Royal Holloway College. He also holds the DipPFS qualification.

Suraj is responsible for Fund Manager Research & Selection at Saranac Partners.

Prior to joining Saranac Partners in 2016, Suraj was at Barclays where his most recent role was Head of Alternatives Portfolio Management. Suraj began his career in 2005 within the alternatives research team at a Middle Eastern Multi-Family Office focusing on hedge funds.

Suraj holds the CAIA qualification and level I of the CFA and graduated from CASS Business School with a BSc (Hons) in Actuarial Science.

Talveer is part of the proposition team, supporting the private and public markets funds platform at Saranac Partners.

Prior to joining Saranac in 2022, Talveer worked as part of the investment team at the Nationwide Pension Fund, primarily focusing on private market fund investing across Europe and the US.

Talveer holds a BSc in Accounting and Finance and is a member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants.
